absolutely shock at how smooth and velvety. each sip demanded another. the shock is that we want to find more of this vintage.

Medium cherry red. Medium-bodied. Moderately extracted. Mildly tannic. Herbs, blackberries. Simple briar fruit flavors on entry. Minerally, mildly herbaceous finish.

Concentrated and nicely textured, with aromas and flavors of brown spice, cocoa and black fruit.

A wine with a healthy dose of sweet red cherry fruit, this Central Valley Zin is leavened by an herbal tang of tannin on the back, which would serve grilled chicken nicely.

A pleasant blend of plum, cherry and herb notes couched in a somewhat silky texture. Won't knock your socks off, but won't disappoint, either, and can't beat the price.

Deep purple. Medium-bodied. Balanced acidity. Highly extracted. Moderately tannic. Brown spice, cocoa, black fruit. Concentrated and nicely textured. Spice aromas and firm, fleshy fruit last well.

Rich, velvety layers of ripe black cherry, wild berry and peppery spice.

Decent and likable Zin, a friendly wine you can pull out for barbecue. Fruity and dry, with soft tannins and a clean, spicy finish. The perfect house red for everyday dining.
