Thirty years ago, Robert Mondavi set out to establish a wine culture in America by putting great California wine on every table. Invigorated by the success of Robert Mondavi Winery in the Napa Valley, in 1979 he established the Woodbridge Winery near his childhood home of Lodi, California.
I tried this wine in the 750mL bottle for $6.99 due to the Robert Mondavi connection hoping to find a replacement for the Napa Ridge Winery (Beringer product) Sauvignon blanc that is a pleasure to drink but my local store is out of. No luck. Utterly bland, insipid, characterless wine. if there is a flavor, aroma, taste of note in it, its too subtle for me to detect.
