Woodbridge Oak Chardonnay 2007
Thirty years ago, Robert Mondavi set out to establish a wine culture in America by putting great California wine on every table. Invigorated by the success of Robert Mondavi Winery in the Napa Valley, in 1979 he established the Woodbridge Winery near his childhood home of Lodi, California.
Not bad for an inexpensive every-day Chardonnay. Soft notes of pineapple and citrus, and a toasty finish.
Very good chardonnay. Deep yellow colour and excellent nose. Very warm and buttery with nice vanilla on the mid-palate.

Wine Tasting NotesOur Woodbridge Chardonnay is a perfect balance, with fresh citrus and apple notes interwoven with rich, ripe tropical fruit character. Hints of orange blossom and spice add interest to the enticing aromas; the creamy, lingering finish is laced with warm oak tones. The wines vibrant Chardonnay flavors come from grapes grown primarily in the Lodi American Viticultural Area (AVA) surrounding our winery.
