Food Pairings for Woodbridge Moscato Moscatel de Alejandria. Orange Muscat. Muscat Rouge
Undeniably sweet, this Moscato is full of sweet orange blossom, mandarin orange, and peach aromas. On the palate, the wine tastes of sweet orange and honeysuckle. The wine does have acidity, which makes it food friendly, and the aftertaste is not cloying. I'd prefer a bit more acidity, but this would be very good with spicy Asian or Indian food. We had it with spicy orange-sesame shrimp and the spiciness was nice with the wine.
Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Moscato displays perfumed aromas and lightly sweet flavors filled with orange blossom, fresh citrus, lychee, honey, and spice.
