With aromas of baked apples and lemon curd, this crowd pleaser offers hints of baking spice flavor and a slightly sweet finish.
This off-dry wine fared surprisingly well in my value tastings. This wine possesses good body and varietal character, as well as ripe pear notes, clean fruit, good richness, medium body, and a soft, elegant, moderately long finish. This is an excellent value.
Light, bright and fresh chardonnay fruit in a wine that continues to offer fine value in its category.
Displays delicious fresh citrus, apple and ripe tropical fruit character with hints of apple blossom and spice.
Winemaker's Notes:
Our Woodbridge Chardonnay is a perfect balance, with fresh citrus and apple notes interwoven with rich, ripe tropical fruit character. Hints of orange blossom and spice add interest to the enticing aromas; the creamy, lingering finish is laced with warm oak tones. The wines vibrant Chardonnay flavors come from grapes grown primarily in the Lodi American Viticultural Area (AVA) surrounding our winery.
Tasting Notes:
Delicate aromas of lemon tea and orange blossom perfume our 2009 Riesling. On the palate, lush flavors of orange rind touched with honey and spice are enhanced by an excellent balance of light sweetness and crisp acidity. The perfect wine for those seeking an alternate white variety, Riesling’s slightly lower alcohol makes it a great partner for many foods. Try our Riesling paired with fresh crab salad, smoked salmon, and spicy Asian dishes. Serve chilled.
