Woodbridge Lodi California Select Vineyard Series Chardonnay 2004

External Review by Prestige Wine & Spirits:

Good price for an everyday wine with real Chardonnay character. Shows ripe pineapple and pear flavors, enriched with sweet oak-like notes of smoke, caramel and butterscotch.

This off-dry wine fared surprisingly well in my value tastings. This wine possesses good body and varietal character, as well as ripe pear notes, clean fruit, good richness, medium body, and a soft, elegant, moderately long finish. This is an excellent value.

Crisp and simple. A light wine showing bright, citrusy fruit.

This shows real varietal character with spicy peaches-and-cream flavors and a nice vein of smoky oak, and a honeyed, crisp finish.

Vibrant notes of floral, tropical fruit, pear, citrus and spice weave through this wine; soft, spicy nuances linger on the finish.
