Woodbridge By Robert Mondavi Pinot Grigio Hrzn 2009
We crafted this wine in a classic northern Italian style that brings out Pinot Grigio’s delicate, fruity character. After gently pressing the grapes, we cold-fermented the wine with a special aroma-enhancing yeast strain. Then we aged the wine on the yeast (sur lie) to develop the silky texture. Because Pinot Grigio’s fresh flavors are best enjoyed while young, the wine was not barrel aged.
Thirty years ago, Robert Mondavi set out to establish a wine culture in America by putting great California wine on every table. Invigorated by the success of Robert Mondavi Winery in the Napa Valley, in 1979 he established the Woodbridge Winery near his childhood home of Lodi, California.

Refreshing and light, with hints of lime and grapefruit in a grassy style.
Woodbridge has done a really good job at producing an ultra-dry, crisply acidic white wine of the type California needs. With elegant flavors of citrus fruits, flowers, cinnamon and a touch of honey, it's a superb by-the-glass sipper. Sommeliers should buy this by the case.

Nice for your next block party, an affordable wine with crisp apple, citrus and wildflower flavors that's dry and clean.
This is one of the best buys out there for a dry white wine. At this price, you should stock up by the case. With its lemon, lime, tart green apple and honeydew melon flavors, and the crisp acidity that makes it so clean and tangy, it's just a great sipper.
Grassy, mowed hay, and herbal aromas are present in this medium-bodied, off-dry, pleasant wine. Unreleased CO2 in the wine gives it good freshness and lift.
Appley, with citrus and peach flavors, and very dry. The clean fruit flavors are highlighted by refreshing acidity. It finishes on a sweet-spicy green-apple note.
