GOLD MEDAL - Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2010 SILVER MEDAL - Selections Mondials des Vins 2010 BRONZE MEDAL - Decanter World Wine Awards 2010 Villa Narcisa is where Javier Sanz's Great Granmother first cultivated vines and is now the name of their flagship premium wine. The Verdejo is hand harvested and sorted in order to obtain maximum quality and to prevent oxidisation, harvesting is done by night and inert gas-blanketing of the grapes from vineyard to press is used. Vintage: 2009 Grapes: 100% Verdejo Region: Rueda, Spain Notes: Straw-coloured with golden glints, very clean and bright. Very fine, full of fruit, with anise, sweet grass, fennel and a mineral edge. The palate is Full-bodied and loaded with fruit, good structure and slight bitter hints typical of verdejo variety. Serve: At 8-10c with Paella, most fresh fish dishes, white meats in cream sauces and poultry ABV: 13%
