Wölffer Estate an American Winery in the Classic European Tradition. Sagaponack, New York: Here, in the heart of the Hamptons, a collection of quaint villages stretched like a string of pearls on the shores of the Atlantic, is Wölffer Estate, a winery like none other on the east end of Long Island.
Spice and bright cherries on the nose. Palate is kind of light on the attack but shows nice fruit and a bit of tar. Pleasant lingering finish. A nice, complex wine.
Light cherry and earth and cedar nose. Very soft and supple. Elegant with notes of cherry. A perfectly light hint of barnyard and earth and light delicate tannins. Very easy drinking pinot.
