Wolffer Estate Sparkling Rose "Noblesse Oblige" 2010
Wolffer Estate Sparkling Rose "Noblesse Oblige" 2010 is a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 58.5% Chardonnay, 1% Merlot and 0.5% Petit Verdot. A brilliant light orange-rose in color with fine beads of tiny bubbles, this Long Island Rose offers classic aromas of brioche, yeast, fresh red fruit and toasted almonds on the nose. On the palate, concentrated notes of fresh peach and strawberries with wonderful balance, vibrant acidity, lush, fine tannins and great minerality. This sparkling wine is extremely versatile and pairs well with caviar, shellfish and seafood, cream-based soups and of course, the perfect toast for your special occasions!
Wölffer Estate an American Winery in the Classic European Tradition. Sagaponack, New York: Here, in the heart of the Hamptons, a collection of quaint villages stretched like a string of pearls on the shores of the Atlantic, is Wölffer Estate, a winery like none other on the east end of Long Island.
Dry. Light peach and lemon.
Cherry on the nose. Spritely. 86
Wolffer is the best winery on LI...This rose is blah at best. The actually winery is the place to be, but the actual wine 'rose' is too sweet and too floral...

One of the few wineries on Long Island's South Fork, Wölffer uses Bordeaux grapes (plus a splash of Chardonnay) to create this ultra-fresh, food-friendly rosé. Citrus, strawberries, and a mineral-laden finish will make for a night to remember - even if you're not in the Hamptons.
In collaboration with Wölffer Estates, André Balazs introduces this delectable rosé, once exclusive to his hotels and restaurants. With a delicate copper/pink color, aromas of pink grapefruit and summer berries jump from the glass and progress through the palate. Another success for Wölffer winemaker Roman Roth!
