Wolf Blass Riesling South Australia (2006)

The fruit for this wine was sourced from premium Riesling vineyards in South Australia. 2006 showed a good start to the vintage across all regions with the potential to be a good cropping year. Budburst and flowering were good in most districts and rain in Spring promoted luscious growth. Mid January experienced a dramatic climate change with a long period of intense heat which brought the vintage on a lot sooner than normal.
