Wither Hills was founded in the 1990s, and quickly built up a fantastic reputation, based on its production of just three wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The estate has grown in size and stature and is now regarded as one of the finest Marlborough estates. Chief Winemaker Ben Glover oversees a top team of dedicated wine fanatics. Rich with delicate aromatics and the subtle palate weight of classic Marlborough Pinot Gris, this is dry in style with a lush palate and glorious balance. A wine of remarkable intensity.
Nose: quince, pear, honeysuckle, floral notes, sweet and intense. Palate: Spicy pear, lemon, orange, sweet phenolics. Off-dry, so some sweetness balanced by lively acidity. Well balanced, intense and elegant.
