Wishing Tree Red Bordeaux Blend Cabernet-Merlot 2005
For those wishing for a rich and intensely favored Cabernet & Merlot blend, this is the wine for you. Beautiful red Cabernet fruits and soft Merlot characters are in abundance. This wine is simply delicious, easy drinking. It has secondary notes of spice, cinnamon and pepper to add to its appeal. A drink now wine, or hold for a few years.

The rich blackberry and cassis character of a juicy Merlot and the seductive, darker, meatier notes of Cabernet Sauvignon make this an instant hit, with or without food. Perfect for your favorite beef dish.
Bright red. Cherry and tobacco aromas with hints of licorice and green pepper. Clean, spicy red berry and pomegranate flavors are a bit lean, and the green note lingers on the finish.
This is a very fine value by innovative importer John Larchet. The dark ruby/purple-hued 2004 Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon (61% of the former and 39% of the latter) reveals decent character, but a monolithic personality, particularly when compared to the impeccably made Chardonnay and Shiraz.
