Bright and zesty, with a citrusy zing to the tropical fruit flavors. Drink now.

Light yellow. Inviting aromas of tangerine and melon are perked up by lemon zest and white flowers. Light-bodied citrus and melon flavors gain weight and power with air without showing any apparent fat. Fleshy and smooth on the back end, leaving behind melon and peach flavors.

The 2007 Unoaked Chardonnay is medium straw-colored with a spicy nose of green apple and white peach. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, this everyday Chardonnay will drink well for 1-2 years. It is an excellent value.

Plump and fleshy for an unoaked style, with tangerine, lemon and passion fruit notes that finish clean and refreshing. A good summer wine at a fair price.

White values $20 and under. Tasted and recommended, but no tasting note given.

Pale yellow. Pungent aromas of peach and melon are underscored by a note of lemon zest. Light in body but fleshy, with deep pit fruit and melon flavors and a late kick of tarragon. The finish repeats the lemon zest note and is refreshingly tight and brisk.

Fresh and lively, with lemon, fig and tangerine scents that take on a lemon tone on the palate. Crisp, shortish finish. Try with tuna steaks. Drink up.
