Wirra Wirra Shiraz Mclaren Vale Woodhenge 2003

Member Review by duncan 906:

I was given this some time ago but have only now got around to drinking it.It is made by Wirra Wirra vineyards in South Australia and the name refers to the sexton of the nearby Bethany Church. It is a shiraz aged in oak for 12 months.I liked it.It was certainly fruity but not in that intense and concentrated way of Northern Rhone reds
