Winter's Hill Estate Pinot Noir 50 Years of Adventures 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

Emily & Peter Gladhart began their adventure 50 years ago in the volcanic highlands of Ecuador. For the past 25 years they have been growing grapes and crafting fine wines in the volcanic Dundee Hills of Oregon. Raise a glass and toast the adventures among you! This bottle is a celebration of Peter & Emily Gladhart's 50th wedding anniversary. We chose the 3 best barrels from the 2013 vintage for this exclusive Pinot noir. The nose is complex with earthy notes of cedar, chocolate and cigar box. On the palate the wine is elegant with cherry tartness, earl grey tea, with white pepper on the finish. Juicy acidity and soft tannins linger on the finish.
