The Wingnut label came about through a classproject at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, GA. The student who won the two-quarter scholarship is 23-year old Dave Whitling, and the Wingnut Wisdom idea came fromRachel Strubinger. Eccentric people are often difficult and embarrassing, but behind that theres often genius, energy, vision and passion.Weird and eccentric is a badge of honor this project is a celebration of eccentricity.
The astringent harshness was all I could taste at the start, I thought it was corked in fact, but with some air this was revealed to be a great pleasure, no flavor out of balance. Subtle flavors, hard to characterize, definitely going to try again.
