Wine Men of Gotham Shiraz Blend Shiraz-Grenache 2008
Simply terrible, possibly worse than Yellowtail, which is just about at the bottom. A little breathing did not help. Not even possible to use for cooking. Rated as low as possible.
Awful, almost as bad as Apothic Red. Tastes like figs & feces, just like Apothic Red. The grapes were overripe & exposed to too much heat. Maybe the bottles were stored in a place with too much sunlight and heat. Second worst wine I ever tried out of at least 1,000. I just got off the phone with the store and I am very happy because they said they will allow me to return it. This is the second wine ever in 10 years of drinking 2 or 3 different wines a week that I returned to the store. It's that bad.

The nose is complex with superb lift from the Grenache and weight from the Shiraz. The palate is refined with delicate savoury flavours and great mouth feel. Great balance and complexity with a real savoury finish and lovely dusty tannins.

This well-balanced Australian red has a dried fruit taste with a hint of pepper. This wine pairs well with lamb and red sauced pastas.
