Nice Russian River Chardonnay, a bit on the creamy side with some apricot, slight hint of butterscotch, decent balance with a medium finish. There was just a touch of sweetness when it warmed up that was just a little bit off putting.

Nicely balanced, but not as buttery as the label states. It has a buttery note, but nothing special at all. Was hoping for something a little more heavier in a chardonnay. The price for this quality is outrageous.

Fairly-priced, flavorful and fruit-filled Chardonnay. Good balance, lots of spice, good acid balance to keep it fresh. Initial impression almost like apple cider, with lots of tang to the pear, apple, and tropical fruits. Got more interesting the longer it was open.

A creamy texture houses vivid flavors of pineapple jam, lemon pie, vanilla custard and buttered toast in this rich wine. It's an opulent Chardonnay made for elegant fare.

The 2006 Chardonnay is classic Californian in its display of assorted tropical fruits, full-bodied opulence, superb purity, good acidity, and long finish.

Wine Advocate ReviewRated 91The 2006 Chardonnay is classic Californian in its display of assorted tropical fruits, full-bodied opulence, superb purity, good acidity, and long finish.Wine Tasting NotesAromas of lemongrass, honey and citrus, with a whiff of minerality; on the palate, tropical fruit flavors blend with a touch of judicious French oak. Creamy, smooth texture, well-balanced acidity with vanilla and citrus in balance. The fruit was picked at optimum maturity for a detectable richness. Drink now through 2010.

Intense concentrated full-bodied and still a bit raw this delivers a complex mix of pear apple spice and honeysuckle ending with a long finish that offers a glimpse of smoky marshmallow. Drink now through 2011. 2262 cases made. WS.
