Tasting Note: Deepest red-black with purple highlights are your first hint that this is a serious wine...the nose explodes on cue with black and pink peppercorns exotic secondary aromas and ripe brambly blackberries. A persistent presence of tar and cola remind you that this is Syrah while the iron tar and pepper scream that Castelli-Knight Ranch is back! The ripe tannins clamp down and slowly dissolve leaving your mouth watering for another sip.... and another sip.
