Wimmer-Czerny Traminer Trio 2012

External Review:

Wimmer Czerny is located in the Wagram region, along the Danube, approximately 50 miles west of Vienna. Czerny’s home village is on the northern bank of the Danube, an area known for its almost pure loess soil. The resulting microclimate produces world-class grapes for well-crafted wines. While some Traminers can have an overwhelming rosy nose Czerny has created a lovely balanced and restrained wine where the palate is more discernable, dry with notes of pepper, lycee and mild minerals. This is a great summer white and would pair with anything herbal.
