A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2004 Williams Selyem Pinot Noir Precious Mountain 750ml
As for the dark plum/ruby-colored 2004 Pinot Noir Precious Mountain, this has a nice, sweet berry nose intermixed with raspberry, plum, and autumn foliage. Complex aromatics are followed by a medium-bodied wine but, again, rather noticeable acidity seems to tighten the wine down and make it very difficult to penetrate its flesh. This wine should age nicely and should turn out well.
Winemaker's Notes:
Complex perfume of wild cherries and raspberries, sweet roses, citrus blossom, Asian spice, green tea and toffee. In your mouth the ripe red berry flavors explode with a nice balance of acidity, morel mushrooms and espresso. The ripe, somewhat youthful tasting tannins are complemented by the concentration of fruit and long, succulent finish.
