Williams Selyem Pinot Noir Russian River Valley Allen Vineyard 2008
The wild berries, Asian spice, fresh herbs and mocha aromas in the nose exude classic Sonoma Coast characteristics. Your mouth will explode with flavors of ripe wild berries, cranberries, graham cracker, white pepper, toffee, and toasted marshmallow. Rich tannins and acidity balance out the flavors of ripe berries, citrus peel and fresh herbs. The long, rich finish completes this wonderful experience.
Incredibly rich, smooth pinot. Nose of black cherry, blackberry and some raspberry. Very rich and fruity in the mouth with the same fruits, but also nice robust tannins and incredible persistence.

Very limited production that goes primarily to members of their mailing list, we are very lucky to be able to offer a small quantity of this collectible Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir from Williams Selyem. Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored it 90 points saying "Shows tart cranberry crispness in addition to richer cherry and raspberry fruit, but it’s a fairly aloof wine now, with competing parts. Even though this isn’t a single-vineyard Pinot, it needs time in the cellar, to let everything mellow. Give it 4–5 years."
