- Bricking at the edges with a ruby center. A complex mix of mostly secondary fruit aromas leads to delicious, warm, forward and velvety flavors that are beginning to lose some of their youthful vibrancy. This is drinking perfectly now and finishes with the barest hint of brett that is really nothing more than a nuance.

- Medium red. As always, the most immediately identifiable of Williams Selyem single vineyard bottlings, with its deeply pitched, oaky, Morey-like aromas of coffee, mocha, strawberry, black pepper and smoked meat; developed a sweet raspberry quality and a nutmeg spiciness with aeration. Big, lush, sweet and seamless in the mouth, with a layered texture and lovely depth of flavor. Very young, but not quite as pristine as the Allen. Finishes ripe and long, with a bit of acidity to lose.
