Williams Selyem Bucher Vyd. Pinot Noir Lightly Bin-Soiled Label 2010
93 points Josh Raynolds (International Wine Cellar): Vivid red. Highly aromatic, complex bouquet of dark berries, cherry pit, anise, white pepper and mace. Deeply pitched but lively cherry and black raspberry flavors are complemented by vanilla, Asian spices and candied licorice. Shows impressive energy and finishes with firm but harmonious tannins and excellent smoky persistence. (May 2012)

One of the unique single vineyard bottlings from this iconic winery, the Bucher Vineyard is located about 1-1/2 miles north of the Williams Selyem winemaking facility on Westside Road. The clones planted include 777, 115, 37, and Pommard 4, with an Arbuckle gravely loam soil. The wine was aged 16 months in 63% new oak barrels. Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored it 95 points saying "For sheer voluptuous pleasure, this is one of Williams Sel-yem’s best 2010s. It just floods the mouth with flavors of raspberry and cherry Pop-Tarts, with the most wonderful array of spices and a tender use of oak. Hard to keep from drinking it now, but it should age well over the next 8–10 years." Extremely Limited!
