Great bottle for the price.

Deep red and dark berry aromas meld with hints of raspberry, dark cherry, blackberry, and blueberry in this rich Cabernet Sauvignon. Well-integrated with expressive tannins, very long on finish. This Cab Reserve shows notes of jam, sweet vanilla and dark chocolate on the palate. Purchased in Portland Oregon at a small wine store set up for online shipments. Their sale on this wine was $20 flat, no sales taxes in Oregon. This cab is a definite treasure coupled with a rare slab of NY cut prime.
This is a really nice bottle of cab with a few years on it. The fruit up front has faded a bit but what is left is a wonderful velvety mouth feel with notes of spice, tobacco and black fruits. There are plenty of tannins present but they are well rounded and the finish is long. I was able to pick this bottle up on sale for $14 and it may be the best buy of the year!!!
Dark roasted meats and nuts, black fruit, a bit of alcohol, and a touch of soy on the nose. Tannins are present surprisingly more than I thought they would be. There's a bit of a mouth puckering feeling left in the mouth, but this just needs a little food. This wine was opened yesterday, but not much was drunk and was vacuum sealed. The oak is a bit out of balance, but this is not too noticeable.
