William Hill Estate Napa Reserve Chardonnay 2005

Member Review by VegasOenophile:

Nose of d'anjou pear and smoke. More swirling breaks up the smoke and other tropical fruits come through. On the palate, it's a rather creamy chardonnay with flavors of starchy fruits, creme bruleé and pastry. Smoke returns on the finish. Nice, but not remarkable.

not offensive, but a bit too mild/flavorless for a chardonnay. almost tasted water down (!) and we had it from the bottle at home (not at a restaurant where i might have actually questioned whether someone really added water).
