Bought this one at a little wine shoppe in Portland, Oregon Hawthorn district. Was excellent
Bevmo had a 2 for 1 deal on this and I figured it was worth a try. Had this with some cheese and crackers, which went well since this wine is not very dark or heavy for a cab. I don't think I would have liked this paired with red meat though, since all the flavors are so subdued. More kick on the back than the front.
Three and a half glasses

Wine Tasting NotesThe Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a supple wine, exhibiting aromas of cassis, currant and raspberry. A small percentage of grapes are whole berry fermented, contributing a softness in the tannin structure and an added richness, polished texture and earthy body. This wine pairs well with roasted meats, particularly when served with a berry or currant reduction sauce. Wild mushroom risotto or any dish featuring Portabello mushrooms would be a great match with the earthy characteristics of this wine.
