Wine Tasting Notes A beautiful wine that truly expresses the terroir of the red, volcanic earth where it was grown. Aromas of red fruits, violets, clove, and tea leaf. Flavors mirror aromas with juicy bing cherry, lavender, earth and mineral followed by an elegant finish that lingers with spicy cinnamon and clove notes. The mouthfeel is round and generous with a concentrated mid-palate and good acidity. Appealing now, but will further reward those who cellar this wine. Peak drinkability is between 2011-2014.

Stemmy and almost a bit minty on the nose with sage and balsam layered over vanilla framed raspberry fruit. Fres, precise and zesty on entry, this shows off super polished and supple tannins and sport plenty of well integrated acidity in a rather sleek and elegant package. The texture is just gorgeous, a hint of fleshiness, cherry and raspberry toned, wrapped around the taut, linear structure. Though the flavors are low key and restrained this does gain some nice soil tones on the back end that lead to a clean, refreshing that is brief if finish studded with fresh raspberry flavors. 86pts
Very light in color, somewhat thin and watery without much else. Red cherry, Rancher's watermelon and some light floral notes.

The nose has aspberry, stawberry, and a light hint of wonderful stink. On the palate, this is bright and amazingly fruity, with very soft tannins and a great acidic bite on the back end.

Vivid red. Spicy raspberry and candied cherry aromas are deepened by a suggestion of roasted herbs. Lush and supple, with ripe red and dark berry flavors in a straightforward, fresh, easy-drinking package. This is the best version of this bottling I've had in some time.
Medium cherry-red. Floral, candied aromas of raspberry, strawberry and banana, with a hint of bubblegum; Beaujolais-like. Juicy and spicy, with restrained sweetness and a repeating banana note. This reminded me of bug juice at summer camp. Nicely fresh, lean wine with a dry-edged, peppery finish.
The fruit jumps out and says, "drink me now." This is a no-frills, unpretentious party-style of Pinot, but unlike most of the cheap California stuff it has some weight behind its fruit. Pleasing black cherry and blackberry flavors are right up front, with sturdy tannins providing a solid foundation.
