Editorial Reviews for Willakenzie Pinot Noir Emery
Floral and herbal on the nose with green berry notes that are enchanting. The nose smells fresh, bright and organic. In the mouth this is zesty with transparent sweet cranberry fruit. It's lively and pure, if a touch simple, but with such crisp purity it's undeniable appealing! Drink it sooner rather than later 2009-2011 91pts

The Willakenzie winery is named after the soil in which the vines are planted, and it is known for its Burgundian-style Pinot Noirs. Red and black fruit flavors, with bright acidity and hints of baking spices, are all in attendance here, and floral aromas waft from the glass. Overall, this is a delicious Oregon Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley.
Wine Tasting Notes The Estate Cuvee offers attractive aromas of red fruit, with hints of nutmeg and pleasing earthiness. The flavors match the aromas with fresh cherry and cranberry followed by subtle darker notes of blueberry and blackberry. The palate impression is refined yet refreshing with bright acidity and hints of citrus and caramel on the finish. This medium bodied wine is extremely food friendly and will pair with a great variety of dishes including roasted poultry, salmon, lighter meats such as pork or veal, and charcuterie. Ready to enjoy now, it will benefit from 1 to 2 years in the cellar and will age well for up to 5 years from its date of release. It can also be served slightly chilled.
