Editorial Reviews for Willakenzie Estate Pinot Blanc Cork Free
This is nicely herbal and leafy on the nose with quartzy mineral edges to the white fruit that shows a hint of Ranier cherry. In the mouth this is surprisingly fruity with an almost tropical kiwi/guava thing going on but the acid/fruit balance it near perfect lending this a really precise feel on the mid-palate. the fruit turns more pear tones in the mouth and while there is a touch of residual sugar here lending roundness there as a touch of bitter melon that helps to counter the sweetness and creates a seamless complex whole, particularly on the long, engaging finish. 91pts

A Pinot Noir wine from Oregon in USA. 2009 Willakenzie Estate Pinot Noir 750ml
The Willakenzie winery (named after the soil in which the vines are planted) is known for its Burgundian-style Pinot Noirs. Red and black fruit flavors, with bright acidity and hints of baking spices, are all in attendance here; floral aromas waft from the glass. Overall, this is a delicious Oregon Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley.
