Wild Rock Wine Company is a producer of regionally diverse wines. Company vineyards, a combination of owned, leased and contracted are situated in; Hawke's Bay, Martinborough, Marlborough, Central Otago.
Wild Rock Wine Company Vineyards winemaking operations occur at two purpose built facilities in the Hawke's Bay, and to a small extent in contract facilities in the south Island.
The winemaking facilities are have been design for diverse small batch wine making and larger batch contract processing and wine finishing.
Cellar operation and techniques (including cleaning product use, waste disposal, wash down standards) are controlled by wine maker specification, and increasing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) geared to accreditation to HACCP
Water take at both sites is from consented bores; Waste water disposal is via effective, consented effluent and wine waste treatment systems.
Grape processing by-products are retained for composting and, ultimately, return to the vineyard.
A sustainable, environmentally sympathetic and efficient mode of operation is integral to our operations. The wineries are SWNZ accredited. Read less
