Wild Horse Vineyard Cheval Savage 2009

Member Review by VegasOenophile:

More white pepper and herb on the nose. It's earthy, with flavors of brown sugar, strawberries. Nice lush tannin and food worthy. Good structure and great fruit and spice mix. I detected a slight grassy note. Nice earthiness. Tasty wine! Very balanced. 92 pts. 9/1/12 at winery

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
