Extremely fruity aromas of ripe berries and plums are combined with barrel toast when first poured. Complex flavors of mulberry, cherry, mocha and sweet oak are held up by bright acidity and moderate tannins with a clean finish. SUGGESTED FOOD PAIRINGS: This elegant wine can be paired with a wide range of cuisine and shows particularly well with grilled and lightly smoked foods, Mediterranean foods and pasta that has roasted tomatoes, vegetables and sweet peppers.
