Food Pairings for Wild Duck Creek Merlot Heathcote Gerogery East Homestead
External Reviews for Wild Duck Creek Merlot Heathcote Gerogery East Homestead
The Merlot Reserve is rare wine, with only three ever being made. Originally produced from grapes grown in the Alans Cabernet vineyard, the last one made (2001) included grapes from the St Michaels vineyard on the southern part of the Mt Camel range.
Wild Duck Creek Estate is one of those cult wineries in Australia, based outside of Melbourne, that has achieved much of its acclaim due to a mixture of excellent winemaking techniques (vinification is entirely effected through manual pressing) and a winemaker with a keen sense of what good wine, David Anderson.
