Wonderful Merlot. I was dissappointed by their Cabernet which I drank during the winter. But this wine explodes from the glass with a wonderful nose of berrys and anse. Good structure and a great long finish....The color of the wine is dark dark red....and exibits Malbec qualities on site. I highly recommend this Merlot...More proof that the boys from sideways were way off on their opinions about this noble varietal!

Rating: 89/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the September 2010 issue. This big-bodied, broad-shouldered Merlot is at present a bit longer on brawn than on beauty, but even now it exhibits lots of convincing black cherry fruit. Its slightly sinewy style makes it one for the cellar, and it should not be uncorked anytime soon, but we like its prospects to gain in richness as it slowly softens and evolves over the next five or six years.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Cellar for future drinking. Wine will improve with bottle aging.
