The intensity is present upfront. Deep, dark purple color, this Reserve invites with aromas of black cherry and oak, flavors of cassis, black cherry/berry. Its long, rich and lingering finish has ample tannin for aging. Enjoy through 2024.

'Highly Recommended,' California Grapevine: Medium to medium-dark purplish ruby; attractive, plummy, cassis and blackberry fruit aroma with herbal notes and hints of graphite and vanilla; full body; tight, herbal, ripe dark berry fruit flavors; full tannin; hard, tight finish; lingering aftertaste. Needs several more years of aging. Highly recommended. 14.2% alcohol; 2,280 cases; blended with 4% Malbec; to be released November 2011. (Aug/Sep 2011)
