Firm and intense, with a mix of earthy currant, sage, cedar and spice, both in the aromas and on the palate. Turns supple and elegant midpalate, before the tannins firm up on the finish.

Whitehall Lane's 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon displays graceful aromas of cherry, plum and vanilla. This stylish wine is captivating and delicious from the enticing aromas to the long, smooth finish. It's a blend of lush fruit with aromas of deep blackberry, currant and toasted oak. With ample fruit, good weight in the mid-palate and velvety tannins, this beautifully balanced wine is ready to enjoy now, but worthy of aging for five to seven years.

Winemaker's Notes:

Notes on the Whitehall Lane Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 : NVWE NOTES: This Cabernet has a gorgeous nose of purple plums, blackberries and blueberries, with dark cherry undercurrents and a supporting cast of vanilla, earth and just a hint of licorice root. It is medium bodied and deliciously fruity on the palate, where red plum, red cherry, vanilla and earth flavors surge to the forefront. The finish is long, supple and never less than vividly fruity. Perfectly balanced, and poised for dinner service, it is so engaging that it will undoubtedly prove to be a winning sipper as well. It ranks among the best Whitehall Napa Cabs yet produced and is a tribute to classic Napa style, despite its Bordeaux-like fruit mix. Blended with 6% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec and 2% Petite Verdot. 15,500 cases produced.WINEMAKER NOTES: This Cabernet Sauvignon is an appealing blend of lush fruit with aromas of cherry, currant and spicy oak.
