Whitehall Lane Cab 2012
"This attractive Cabernet Sauvignon is loaded with floral and bright fruit qualities. Aromas of cherry, violet and sweet vanilla meld with supple flavors of currant, red berry, a hint of cappuccino and toasty oak. The wine is nicely balanced with great length on the finish." -Winery
A little dissappointed. I expected more since I really liked their 2007 Merlot....and this was supposed to be a high quality blend at a reasonable price of $25. It was supposed to celebrate 3 generations of the wine making family at Whitehall Lane. Not a bad wine, but I expected more. Cheers!
Sweet and youthful, medium bodied with a candy/ floral like nose and bright fruit qualities.
My favorite BK/WB wine for about 2 years running. Great color and body. Too many flavors to mention. If you like blends this is a master blend.
This was best wine tasted in Napa 2012 trip. Had it at Culinary Institute.
Four and a half glasses
Very dissappointing.Maybe it is a bad bottle or a less than desirable year. I didn't like the nose from the start. Not much structure or substance at all. Very thin. Drinkable, but not that enjoyable. Cheers.

This classic Bordeaux blend displays balance between ripe fruit and power. It has deep color and attractive aromas of mulberry, blackberry, spice and vanilla. An elegant wine that is round and supple with flavors of berry, plum and mocha that linger beyond the long and polished finish.

Winemaker Notes - This striking 2010 Cabernet is loaded with bright, vibrant fruit and has exceptional body to match. The aromas and flavors of blackberry, currant, black cherry and toasty oak meld exquisitely with ample mid- palate weight, a silky mouth-feel and luxurious tannins that add good length to the finish. A great wine to enjoy today but it will also improve through cellar aging beyond 2020.
A family owned winery in Napa Valley's historic Rutherford appellation since 1979 and now owned by the Leonardini Family for the past 22 years. Whitehall Lane has made the most of its 110 acres of prime Valley-floor vineyards. In Wine Spectator's year-end ranking, Whitehall Lane has been honored an unprecedented three times in five years for producing wines rated among the top five in the world. The winery has also been voted Winery of the Year from the Quarterly Review of Wines and Wine and Spirits Magazine. This 2010 Reserve Cab is their latest and greatest. A blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot and 4% Malbec from the winery's Fawn Park Vineyard and Leonardini Vineyard. The wine was aged in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels for 24 months. 90+ scores from Parker and others. Wine Enthusiast scored it 93 saying "So broadly delicious now, it hardly seems worthwhile to age this wine, but don’t let it fool you. The blackberries, currants, dark chocolate, minerals and oak will only transform into something seamlessly complex with 8–10 years in the cellar. The winery’s Reserve bottling has established itself as one of the most consistently fine, ageable Cabs in Napa Valley."
Whitehall Lane Cabernet Sauvignon has intense color and aromas of raspberry, and toasty oak that leap forth. The berry and plum flavors are concentrated with a rich, mouth-coating texture. With loads of fruit and velvety tannins, this beautiful blend is enjoyable now but will age gracefully.
So broadly delicious now it hardly seems worthwhile to age this wine but don
