White Hall Vineyards Viognier Virginia 2012
Made from fruit hand-picked from the Dead Man's Hill vineyard at Mansfield, 500 metres above sea level. The amber-rose fruit had lychee and rose-petal notes and the juice was fermented cold to retain the vibrant fruit aromas. Luscious and rich flavours are matched beautifully by the tang of the wine's acidity. Gold and Best Wine in Show at Fed Square New releases December 2012. Delicious with smoked trout, steamed fish with ginger, spicy chicken and pork dishes!
