Westerly Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Santa Ynez Valley 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Grass and key lime on the nose, with some tropical fruit and grapefruit notes as well. Rich but lively on the palate, with citrus as well as tropical fruit and some melon flavors. Bright acidity leads to a long, clean finish. Reminiscent, in some aspects, of both New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Loire Valley Sancerre.

Westerly Vineyards sustainably farms 85 acres of low-yielding grapevines on a 200-acre ranch located in Happy Canyon. This Sauvignon Blanc shows beautiful concentration with notes of honeysuckle, sweet and sour citrus, and grass notes.
