West Cape Howe Tempranillo Denmark 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

Color: Deep magenta red with a medium purple hue. Aroma: Aromatic and lifted maraschino cherries and strawberries. Palate: The palate of this is filled with lovely cherry flavours and some nuttiness. The mid palate is soft and savoury the wine balances all these varietal hallmarks with a long structured finish.

West Cape Howe Wines Pty Ltd:
Located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, West Cape Howe is one of the most southerly points, rising some 250 metres above the Southern Ocean. It is thought that the first explorers to our coastline were Dutch seafarers in 1627 aboard their ‘Fluyt’ class vessel “Gulden Zeepaard” (Golden Seahorse). Our winery is named after this magnificent landmark. The rugged coastline is home to some stunning beaches and great rock climbing sites.
