West Cape Howe Sauvignon Blanc Zeepaard 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

Color: Pale straw with brilliant clarity. The nose shows bright tropical fruits combined with subtle herbal notes. Palate: Herbal characters are balanced with ripe stone fruits and tropical fruit flavours. The wine has a long persistent flavour with balanced acidity giving a clean finish. Cellaring Potential: This wine is best consumed young while it is fresh and vibrant

West Cape Howe Wines Pty Ltd:
Located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, West Cape Howe is one of the most southerly points, rising some 250 metres above the Southern Ocean. It is thought that the first explorers to our coastline were Dutch seafarers in 1627 aboard their ‘Fluyt’ class vessel “Gulden Zeepaard” (Golden Seahorse). Our winery is named after this magnificent landmark. The rugged coastline is home to some stunning beaches and great rock climbing sites.
