Add your reviewVery oaky, buttery nose. Even though there's only 3% gewurtz it really shines through and adds complexity to the chardonnay. Its a very oaky wine, with a long spicy finish on the oak. Soft soft floral notes and fragrant aromas from the gewurz - recommended for something different.
I ordered a glass of this wine at a local restaurant and liked it so much that I went to the winery to go wine tasting!! I purchased 3 bottles!!
Winemaker's Notes:
Fermentation: 90% of this wine was barrel fermented, with the balance in stainless steel. After primary fermentation, the wine was allowed to naturally undergo malolactic fermentation. Aging: The wine was aged sur lie for 12 months in new American oak barrels. Battonage, the stirring of the barrels, was performed monthly.

This Chardonnay has a rich, golden color and aromas of ripe apple, vanilla, butter, and pear. It has a luscious mouthfeel with flavors of vanilla, guava, and butterscotch and a long, smooth finish.
