Wente Vineyards Chardonnay Livermore Valley 2006

Aging: The wine was aged sur lie for 12 months in new American oak barrels. Battonage, the stirring of the barrels, was performed monthly.
Very oaky, buttery nose. Even though there's only 3% gewurtz it really shines through and adds complexity to the chardonnay. Its a very oaky wine, with a long spicy finish on the oak. Soft soft floral notes and fragrant aromas from the gewurz - recommended for something different.
very buttery with nice flavor
I ordered a glass of this wine at a local restaurant and liked it so much that I went to the winery to go wine tasting!! I purchased 3 bottles!!
One of our favorite Chards. Smooth and buttery with nice flavor.
