Wente Sandstone Merlot 2010

Member Review by Kovas 50 States Of Wine:

Vanilla and plum aromas; smoky, earthy, plum and dark cherry flavors; vanilla tannins on the finish. The Lone Bellow was the music suggested, but I'd pair the Merlot with Rusted Root.

Exhibits aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry and plum with hints of black tea and toasted oak. A smooth mouthfeel and inviting tannis lead to a long, fruity finish.
