Weingut Türk dates back to the beginning of the 18th century and consists of fifteen hectares of vines - 75% Grüner Veltliner - cultivated sustainably on loess, primary rock, and conglomerate soils in Kremstal - the heart of Austrian winemaking. Franz says that his aim is to capture the positive energy of the sun in fluid form; to express the uniqueness of each vintage, the soil, and the microclimate and to respect the craft and art of winemaking. The Türk Riesling Kremser Weinzierlberg is pale yellow with brilliant, crystal clear fruit and the characteristic Veltliner pepper. It is appetising, but with a harmonious acidity. It can be enjoyed with light, mildly spiced dishes.
