Very well made Piesporter at an even better price! Offers copious fruit upon entry poised by seamless acidity. Enjoy with your favorite appetizer or on its own as an anytime sipper.

As a person who really loves Riesling and really likes to find bargains, I really love the Richter Piesporter Michelsberg '06 Riesling. Very open and sweet (but not overripe) peach on the nose, entering the mouth with ample stone fruit and a long grapefruity finish. This wine demonstrates the balance and flavor depth of a wine twice the price.

Light nectarine, kiwi and red delicious apple infuse the delicate body of this incredibly pure and clean Riesling. Just semi-sweet, a great companion to mild, creamy cheese such as a nutty, French triple cream brie.

The Germans usually keep these classically styled Rieslings to themselves. We're lucky they let this crisp, dryish wine out of their clutches.
