Food Pairings for Weingut Max Ferd. Richter Riesling Estate
I found this to be a very enjoyable, dry riesling. I'm an inexperienced drinker, so I don't want to go head over heals for this wine, but considering the price it is definitely worth another bottle or two.

The amazing wine producers at the Richter winery in Germany have another winning wine with their 2005 Estate Riesling. The nose is full of crisp green apples and notes of citrus zest. On the palate, the wine is more round, losing some of the crisp minerality found in the nose and making way for a honeyed apricot flavor and the essence of white peaches on the finish. Rieslings pair well with a various range of foods. Try this with a slightly salty main dish to complement the flavors of both the food and the beverage.
A great value, this wine is made from 100% estate-grown grapes. It has a peachy entry with slate-laced minerality and lemony acidity on the finish.
Born in the valleys of Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, this wine has the freshness of a perfectly ripe peach, complemented by clean, vibrant acidity. Budget- and palate-friendly, this is a great white to give to people who swear they don't like wine - Richter will surely change their minds.
A hint of petrol aromas gives way to peach and pear flavors in this light-bodied white. The lively structure keeps it fresh. Drink now through 2015.
Crisp and shy on flavor, showing modest apple and grapefruit notes. Gets pinched on the finish. Drink now through 2011.
Lovely QbA. Fresh, snappy and balanced with peach, apple and mineral flavors ending with a mouthwatering tang. Drink now through 2005.
