Weingut Max Ferd. Richter Richter Estate Riesling 2014

External Review:

Normally from the younger Graacher Himmelreich and Brauneberger Juffer vines the 9% alcohol Richter 2013 Riesling Estate also contains the grapes from old Graacher Domprobst and Erdener Treppchen vines. Clear and herbal on the delicate, lemon-flavored nose, this moderately sweet, piquant and elegant wine reveals a stunning complex taste with a nice, lingering salty minerality on the palate. Good aging potential.

Apple and green pear flavors define this slightly ripe-tasting Riesling. Notes of dried tarragon show on the open-textured finish. Drink now. 800 cases made.
