Add your reviewPeaches, honeysuckle, summer. This wine smells and tastes great. Riesling that's more on the sweet side but goes down easy with a slightly acidic finish. Great value wine!
This rating is for the 2010. It was absolutely brilliant thick and honeyed but with medium residual sugars absolutely delicious
Fantastic wine - very well priced. A mineral nose, with peaches opens. Its got searing acidity, thats well balanced by a little residual sugar. Very well balanced, resulting in a lively wine. Nicely mineral, and emollient with more peaches on an extended finish. Served with a steak salad, but would pair with Quiche, salads, sandwiches / picnics or even spicy Asian foods.
Wonderfully light, bright, and smells soft of apples and pears. The sweetness isn't cloying and refreshing
I really like this wine, and think its one of the best Rieslings under $30. The '08 is already out, but the '07 is still on sale in some places. Peach syrup on the nose, with flavors of candied fruits. Well balanced, nice sugars and a crisp tart finish redolent of limes. Excellent.

A Terry Thiese wine. Semi-sweet with aromas and flavors of red apple and pear. Great with spicy food.
Ripe aromas of stone fruits abound with good acidity and a nice finish. Try this as an apéritif or simply to cleanse your palate any time. No matter what the vintage, Leitz always expresses it.
There's a fresh, focused purity to the flavors of baked apple, coconut and candied ginger, with lots of minerality on the crisp, well-spiced finish. Drink now through 2016.
A whiff of almond gives way to tangy lime, grapefruit and peach flavors in this rich, yet focused Riesling. Picks up a creamy vanilla note on the finish, which lingers nicely. Drink now through 2012.
The latest installment of a proverbial hit, Leitz's 2007 Rudesheimer Drachenstein Reisling Dragonstone continues (as its full name demonstrates) to come from a single vineyard, one from which by now Leitz takes a significant percentage of the crop. There has never been a better example of the electric intensity and uncanny balance Leitz is able to achieve in this site between taut, invigorating acidity and a high level of residual sugar that comes off as barely sweet. Zesty lime, peach, pink grapefruit, and red currant ally themselves to cinnamon spice, salts, and wet stones, and finish with simultaneous penetration and delicacy. Enjoy this great value anytime over the next 3-4 years.
Bright and refreshing , this light-bodied white shows grapefruit, apple and spice flavors. The vibrant structure drives the long finish. Drink now through 2015.
This year's rendition smells of cherry cider laced with orange peel and mulling spices. The palate is as frisky, bright and dynamic as both the vintage and preceding editions of this wine would lead one to expect. Apple, cherry, lime, and orange all inform a scintillatingly bright, sizzlingly spicy, and unabashedly sweet finish. This little study in fruit saturation and vim and vigor - now at 8,000 case production - once again represents a terrific value.
Winemaker's Notes:
Terry Theise: (discernable but not obtrusive sweetness) CORE-LIST WINE. Around 90° Oechsle, homeopathic chaptalization, very late picked and pure single-site Drachenstein; the wine is exceptionally delineated and kinetic (thanks maybe to its 9.2g/l acidity); it lunges across the palate to a pithy firm core or mineral and licorice and a vivid dry bite, into a kirsch-y grappa-ish finish. Length is double-take striking.
